Suzhou is located in eastern China, at the heart of the Yangtze River Delta, directly adjacent to Shanghai. Several major railway stations connect the city to China’s high-speed rail network, with travel times from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station as short as 25 minutes.

Spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) are the most comfortable seasons to visit Suzhou, offering mild temperatures and ideal conditions for garden visits and walking tours.
