North Pavilion
The northern part is also three stories high, approximately 7 meters long and 4 meters wide. It includes Five Buddhas Hall (Wufo Dian), Avalokitesvara Hall (Guanyin Dian), and another Hall of the Three Religions (Sanjiao Dian). Five Buddhas Hall is on the lowest level and is named after the enshrined Five Dhyani Buddhas, or Buddhas of the Five Directions. Avalokitesvara Hall occupies the middle level, while Hall of the Three Religions — representing the temple’s signature integration of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism — is situated on the top level of the temple’s northern section.
