This piece of cursive script was created by Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) calligrapher Ni Yuanlu (1593–1643) from Shangyu, Zhejiang province. The text comes from a Song Dynasty (960-1279) five-character regulated verse poem. Ni's cursive script incorporated elements of ancient clerical script, forging a unique path and demonstrating a personal style both elegant and graceful. Collection: Shanxi Museum.
