Travel tips
• Admission for the fest is free, but advance reservation is required through the official "Culture and Tourism Beijing" (文旅北京) WeChat account or the online registration platform of the Beijing Overseas Cultural Exchange Center (北京市海外文化交流中心). Visitors will receive a QR code for entry after completing real-name registration.
• The event is either held at the Grand Canal Cultural Scenic Area in Tongzhou district or at Funstown in Chaoyang district. As most activities take place outdoors, bringing sunscreen and a light jacket is necessary.
• Food stalls are busiest during peak meal times, and performances become more frequent after 2 pm, with the liveliest atmosphere at dusk.
